As of Thursday I'm back home now. If you followed the travel blog that Chris and I kept, Cape Town offered amazing weather for the last week of our trip and we were terribly sad to return to the bleak gray cold that is Michigan. Luckily we are warming up a bit. Here's hoping we'll warm up enough to have Meg and my wedding out of doors in two and a half weeks! Cross your fingers and pray really hard!
The jet lag seems minimal, thank goodness. Even though it was painful, I forced myself to stay up until almost midnight on Thursday (about 5am by South African time). Other than waking up multiple times in the night and forgetting random things I should not be blanking on, I'd say I'm adjusting well!
I'm starting my very last hospital rotation today for a mercifully short two weeks. There the upcoming graduation to think about, including turning in my logs from four months ago, and gobs of odds and ends to cover in preparation for the wedding! Yay!
Hopefully you all have been well these last couple of months. A few things have changed since I was gone. There are some new buildings around the Lansing area. What is up with the new Coke bottle tops? Why did they make them shorter? I bet it saves billions of tons of plastic or some unbelievable number like that.
